All branded products sold on our site are genuine original goods sourced through lawful commercial distribution channels.
2.2 Product Use and Safety:
Products sold by Proper Goods Co—including concentrated laundry detergents and capsules—must be used strictly in accordance with the on-pack instructions, local safety warnings, and fabric care labels.
Laundry capsules and concentrated liquids must be kept sealed, stored upright, and kept strictly out of reach of children and pets.
In the event of accidental ingestion or eye contact, call the Australian Poisons Information Centre immediately on 13 11 26 or seek emergency medical attention.
Proper Goods Co accepts no liability for damage caused to garments, appliances, or surfaces resulting from improper dosing, off-label application, or failure to follow manufacturer washing guidelines.
We reserve the right to limit the sales of our products to any person, household, geographic region, or jurisdiction at our discretion. All product descriptions and pricing are subject to change at any time without notice.
When you place an order on our website, you make an offer to purchase the specified products. Proper Goods Co reserves the right to accept, decline, or cancel your order for any legitimate business reason, including but not limited to: product availability, errors in pricing or product descriptions, or suspected fraudulent or unauthorized transactions.
Your order is accepted only when we dispatch your goods and issue a formal dispatch confirmation with tracking details.
You represent and warrant that all purchases made through our Services are for personal or domestic household use only, and are not purchased for commercial resale, distribution, or export. We reserve the right to cancel orders placed by suspected unauthorized resellers or bulk commercial consolidators.
All prices displayed on our website are in Australian Dollars (AUD) and are inclusive of Australian Goods and Services Tax (GST) in accordance with Australian law, unless expressly stated otherwise.
Shipping and handling charges are calculated, displayed, and added to your order total at checkout prior to final payment.
We reserve the right to modify prices and promotions at any time without prior notice. The price applicable to your purchase will be the price displayed at the time your order is finalised.

Orders are picked, packed, and dispatched from our Australian warehouse network (including fulfillment facilities in Sydney, NSW and Melbourne, VIC).
5.1 Delivery Estimates: Delivery timeframes displayed on our website or checkout are estimates only and are not guaranteed arrival dates. Proper Goods Co is not liable for reasonable delivery delays caused by third-party carrier backlogs, weather events, industrial action, or regional transit disruptions.
5.2 Delivery and Risk: Proper Goods Co is responsible for ensuring your parcel is delivered to the delivery address provided at checkout. If an item arrives damaged or is lost in transit by the carrier, you must notify us within 7 days of delivery (or within 7 days of the estimated delivery date in the case of non-delivery) at orders@propergoodsco.com.au with photographic evidence so we can arrange an immediate replacement or refund in accordance with the Australian Consumer Law.
5.3 Authority to Leave (ATL): If you provide Authority to Leave or instruct the carrier to deliver an order unattended at your premises without a signature, delivery is deemed complete once the carrier scans the parcel as delivered, and risk of theft or weather damage passes to you.
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods replaced or refunded if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
Change of Mind Returns:
Due to the hygiene, safety, and chemical integrity requirements of laundry and household cleaning consumables, we do not accept change-of-mind returns on opened, unsealed, or used products. Any change-of-mind return for unopened, undamaged items in original retail condition must be requested within 14 days of receipt and will be subject to return postage costs payable by the customer.
